The Island Tour was founded in Colombo by native travel curators, naturalists, and historians who saw that conventional mass-tourism often missed Sri Lanka's greatest wonders: the quiet conversations with tea pluckers in the misty hills, secret sunset viewpoints over Sigiriya, and family-owned coastal villas where recipes have been passed down for centuries.
