watched her unfaithful lover sail away out of the harbor from this high vantage point. In her

deep despair, she threw herself off the sheer precipice into the crashing waves below. A stone

pillar erected near the edge of the cliff commemorates her tragic story, adding a layer of

historical romance to the site.

Standing near the secure viewing railings at the edge of Swami Rock offers a thrilling, high-

altitude view across the coastline. The vantage point provides a bird's-eye look down into the

crystal-clear waters below, where observers can regularly spot large schools of fish, sea turtles,

and even pods of dolphins playing in the deep harbor swells. The strong ocean winds, the sound
